Role in marine infrastructure
APM Terminals Poti owns and operates Georgia's largest seaport. Its current port overview lists 15 berths, 2,900 metres of quay, 29 quay cranes and 22 kilometres of rail track, while its June 2026 investment update reports 636,466 TEU handled in 2025 and more than USD 180 million invested since acquisition. The company is the current operating successor to JSC Poti Sea Port Corporation, not a publicly confirmed contractor for the earlier Berth 14 rehabilitation.
