IMWO reports connect conclusions to identifiable projects, official sources, defined denominators, and a visible data cutoff. The July 2026 global contract packaging, coastal protection, dredging, marine utility interface, and MENA marine works monitors are fully open; planned scopes remain unpublished until they meet the same standard.

The global monitors cover contract packaging, coastal protection, dredging and waterway delivery, and marine utility interfaces. The MENA monitor applies the same evidence discipline to ports, terminals, marine access, and seawater infrastructure.

How reports are built and released

  1. Define the coverage question, inclusion rules, exclusions, and data cutoff.
  2. Verify project sources, confidence, unresolved gaps, and the full evidence trail.
  3. Calculate counts and shares from visible denominators without substituting forecasts.
  4. Release the web edition, PDF, evidence CSV, version record, and correction route together.

Contribute evidence

Institutions can submit official project sources, corrections, and documented marine works evidence to info@imwo.org. Publication and commercial access remain separate decisions.
