The Felixstowe Dock and Railway Company, trading as the Port of Felixstowe, owns and operates the port's container, Ro-Ro and rail-terminal facilities and serves as the statutory and competent harbour authority within the port. Companies House records the active statutory company as ZC000205, while its current tax strategy identifies Hutchison Ports Europe and CK Hutchison Holdings as the indirect parent chain. The operator's current site lists 28 quay cranes along 3,773 metres of quayside, about four million TEU and 2,000 vessel calls a year, plus two Ro-Ro bridges. Three rail terminals have 20 working tracks, more than 11 kilometres of track and up to 58 trains a day. Felixstowe's marine team coordinates berthing, mooring and terminal-side vessel services; Harwich Haven Authority remains responsible for Haven vessel traffic services, pilotage and the maintained approach channel. For TC01361, the Felixstowe company is the buyer that selected ZPMC for four ship-to-shore cranes at GBP 43.594 million excluding VAT. Galway County Council

Galway County Council is the local authority for County Galway outside Galway City. Its Marine Section sits within the Roads and Transportation Directorate and manages or maintains 88 of the county's 244 piers, harbours and landing places along 689 kilometres of coastline. Port of San Francisco

The Port of San Francisco is a City and County of San Francisco department managing 7.5 miles of waterfront held under California's public trust. A five-member Port Commission, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Board of Supervisors, develops, leases, administers, manages and maintains the waterfront. The Port's engineering division provides design, inspection, project and construction management, contracting, permitting and code review, while its maintenance division covers piers, cargo terminals, ferry landings, fishing harbours, parks, utilities and buildings. Plymouth City Council

Plymouth City Council is the unitary local authority for a city with a mixed-use waterfront spanning defence, commercial trade, fishing, ferries, marinas, leisure and marine innovation. Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI)

Inland Waterways Authority of India is the statutory authority under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Established in 1986, it develops and regulates National Waterways and maintains fairways, terminals, jetties, locks, navigation aids and information systems. National Waterway-1 extends 1,620 km along the Ganga-Bhagirathi-Hooghly river system. Within it, the World Bank-supported Jal Marg Vikas Project covers 1,390 km between Varanasi and Haldia, targets navigation by 1,500-2,000 DWT vessels and has a published revised cost of INR 5,061.15 crore. The programme includes multimodal terminals at Varanasi, Sahibganj and Haldia, the Kalughat intermodal terminal, Balagarh terminal development and Farakka lock works. A separate 60-community-jetty programme combines floating pontoons and gangways with passenger facilities on shore. IWAI has awarded four linked packages for 28 concrete or steel floating jetties in Bihar and West Bengal. The cited contract records do not, on their own, confirm that all 28 jetties have been installed and accepted.

Algeciras Bay Port Authority (APBA)

Algeciras Bay Port Authority (APBA) is the public-law authority for the general-interest ports of the Bay of Algeciras and Tarifa within Spain's state-owned port system. Its statutory remit covers planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of port works and marine aids; management of port public domain; control of port services; and coordination of maritime and land traffic. The Algeciras and Tarifa system combines container terminals, bulk facilities, Ro-Ro and passenger operations, fishing and leisure craft. APBA's 2024 management report recorded 5,954,997 passengers and 1,287 tonnes of fresh fish landed across the Algeciras and Tarifa markets. At Tarifa, APBA procured a 20 kV, 400 kVA distribution package for fishing-wharf concession users and awarded the works to VES Renewable in August 2026. That contract is distinct from the authority's separately reported vessel-connection programme: the 2025 decarbonization plan describes EUR 2.75 million for Tarifa electrification and vessel supply points, but the plan and dates do not prove completed OPS installation or commissioning.

IPA S.A. holds the concession through 3 February 2062 for the Port of Igoumenitsa, the Sagiada and Plataria fishing shelters and Syvota marina; the port zone remains a Greek public asset. Its July 2025 regulation authorises port operations, infrastructure development and works awards. The annual report records voting rights of 67% for Igoumenitsa Port Holdings and 33% for HCAP. In 2025 the port handled 907,345 international and 2,133,042 domestic passengers, plus 216,024 international and 141,583 domestic truck movements. IPA coordinates the CEF-backed ALFION-INFRA programme for three freight and passenger OPS positions and a separate cruise-position study. HEDNO awarded the EUR 6.82 million contract for two 3 MVA and one 0.5 MVA systems; installation, energisation, vessel connection and acceptance remain unconfirmed.

The North Adriatic Sea Port Authority is the public non-economic body for the ports of Venice and Chioggia. It plans and controls port operations, maintains common areas and seabeds, supervises general-interest services, administers maritime state property and concessions, and coordinates port development and hinterland links. Its district covers Venice Lagoon navigation waters and canals, Porto Marghera, Venice passenger areas and Chioggia. In 2025 the system handled about 26.2 million tonnes: 25,289,943 tonnes at Venice and 901,065 tonnes at Chioggia. Venice handled 532,762 TEU, and the two ports recorded 617,454 cruise passengers. The 2026-2028 plan prioritises port planning, maritime and landside access, port-area development, energy transition and a lagoon-compatible cruise framework. At Molo Sali the authority is owner and client for Phase B; the Rossi Renzo Costruzioni-led RTI is the awarded delivery group, while terminal operators remain separate entities.

Region Hauts-de-France - Ports Directorate

Region Hauts-de-France owns the Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais port sites. Its Direction de la Mer, des Ports et du Littoral acts as port authority, owner-side project manager and custodian for most breakwaters, jetties, channels, basins, locks and quays. The directorate also operates and maintains non-conceded areas and movable assets while supervising the delegated commercial operation of the port. The Region's 2025 financial outturn records two maintenance-dredging campaigns across the two sites, 667,565 cubic metres removed by trailing suction hopper dredger and EUR 5.3 million of dredging expenditure, plus EUR 1.85 million for bathymetry, sediment analysis, volume estimation and hydrographic follow-up. Those figures describe the prior 2025 operating year. For contract 202613951, the Region is client and framework owner; SODRANORD is the named contractor, and no current source confirms the first purchase order, 2026 quantity, vessel or mobilisation.

Captain Cook Cruises is the published ferry operator, not PTA itself. For PROPTA25042, PTA and Transperth are the owner-side clients, Programmed Facility Management conducted the procurement on their behalf, and Maritime Constructions holds the AUD 1,756,143 platform-and-gangway design-and-construct award. The award does not establish commencement, fabrication, installation, commissioning or handover.

The Directorate-General for Water and Ports is the Government of Cantabria body presented by the current Puertos de Cantabria portal within the Ministry of Development, Housing, Territorial Planning and Environment. Cantabria's ports law covers the autonomous-community port system and lists Santoña and Suances, including its estuary facilities, among the regional ports and installations. The current 2025-2032 port-plan process covers seven autonomous ports and 29 strategic actions across fishing, recreational, navigation, safety, resilience and municipal-integration needs. The Directorate-General and its Port Service administer port property, services and rates, maintain navigation and harbour infrastructure, and prepare, procure, supervise and direct port works. At Santoña the department separately reports 2026 maintenance dredging and holds the north-basin fishing-quay repair contract with the Cuevas-COMSA UTE. At La Pozona it awarded the harbour upgrade to the SERANCO-Estructuras Condal-Construcciones y Excavaciones Aníbal UTE. Neither award identifies downstream dredging, piling, pontoon, steel, concrete-repair, utility, survey or testing firms, and neither should be treated as proof of mobilisation, executed quantities, reception or final account.

Deendayal Port Authority is the statutory Board responsible for the Deendayal (Kandla) major port under India's Major Port Authorities Act 2021. The Authority administers Kandla on the Gulf of Kutch and the Offshore Oil Terminal at Vadinar; its current website publishes 261.10 MMTPA of capacity and says cargo exceeded 160 million tonnes in fiscal 2025-26. DPA is the public client for the Multipurpose Cargo Berth No. 17 DPR and the proposed Cargo Berths 1-6 upgrade. Berth 17 remains an owner-side design assignment to IIT Madras. Infrastructure Malta is the public agency established under Malta's Agency for Infrastructure Malta Act. Its current institutional pages define a remit to develop, maintain and upgrade public infrastructure, including maritime facilities, and state that it has been responsible for maritime infrastructure in Malta's ports and other coastal locations since 2019. Its published marine portfolio includes breakwaters, quays, ferry landings, fishing facilities, dredging, shore power and coastal protection. Infrastructure Malta is the public client for the Marsaxlokk fishing-port fairway dredging and the contracting authority for the replacement Ras Hanzir cargo-facility tender. Marsaxlokk has a named works contractor and active dredging record but no published final acceptance. Ras Hanzir remains a replacement procurement after termination of the predecessor works contract; the live workspace has no award date and does not identify a replacement contractor.

Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata is the statutory Board responsible for the Kolkata major port under India's Major Port Authorities Act 2021. Its official history describes India's only riverine major port, with a roughly 232 km navigational channel from the Sandheads and two dock systems: Kolkata Dock System and Haldia Dock Complex. The current organization structure includes Marine and Hydraulic Study departments, with published functions spanning maintenance dredging, river-regulatory works, bathymetric surveys and navigation-support systems. SMPK issued the May 2026 non-binding expression of interest for phased capital dredging between Sagar and the Eastern Channel. That market sounding sets out alignment, quantity and draft concepts but does not establish a formal RFQ, works award, dredging contractor, accepted price or mobilisation.

Chennai Port Authority

Chennai Port Authority is the statutory Board responsible for Chennai major port under India's Major Port Authorities Act 2021. Ministry and PIB records identify the east-coast gateway's Bharathi, Dr Ambedkar and Jawahar dock system, navigation and marine-traffic responsibilities and 57.90 million tonnes of cargo handled in fiscal 2025-26. In January 2026 the Authority commissioned an indigenous vessel traffic monitoring system and new channel buoys. It is also the public client for Berth 19A at North Quay in Dr Ambedkar Dock, where IIT Madras is carrying out technical audit and detailed engineering through 31 December 2027. That INR 5.074 million consultancy is not a berth-construction contract: no construction tender, award, contractor, price, notice to proceed, mobilisation or acceptance is verified.
