The World Bank names it as implementing agency for P508221, which includes widening and deepening the rectified Itajaí-Mirim channel, desilting part of the old river, two flood-control gates and a wider programme of flood-retention dams. The project is approved and active, but the main river-works procurement has not appeared in the reviewed plan.
