Role in marine infrastructure
Ředitelství vodních cest České republiky is a state organizational unit established by the Ministry of Transport in 1998. It prepares and delivers investment on transport-significant inland waterways. Its remit also covers public ports, landing places, transshipment sites, moorings, service centres, special vessels and navigation information systems. ŘVC ČR operates public ports and landing places, vessel service infrastructure and the BESKYDY tug. At Veselí nad Moravou, it commissioned the phase-one marina expansion delivered by IDS and designed by AQUATIS.
