Fa. Gebr. Van der Lee is a Dutch family-owned civil and marine contractor whose roots predate its 1975 registration and whose first Rijkswaterstaat commission followed in 1978. The wider business covers roads, asphalt and bitumen as well as dredging. Its marine division works from design through execution and maintenance on navigation channels, ports, beach nourishment, coastal defence and land reclamation using an owned trailing-suction hopper dredger fleet. The 4,000 m3 Teunis Huibertus can dredge to 30 metres and discharge through bottom doors, a bow-coupled shore pipeline or rainbowing up to 100 metres; other published fleet references include Mette-Maria, Marinus-G, plough boat Monique and the converted Vliestroom water-injection vessel. Completed and ongoing company examples establish large-scale maintenance capability, including 4 million m3 on the Kiel Canal package and about 1.5 million m3 a year at IJmuiden. Project-specific public records separately confirm two awards: EUR 8.199 million for Walcheren beach nourishment and EUR 4.087 million for Ringvaart 2. The Hofn record identifies Gebr. van der Lee Dredging only as an unsuccessful bidder, and no fleet reference establishes mobilisation on any linked project.
