Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard has awarded Ringvaart 2 dredging to Aannemingsbedrijf Van der Lee B.V. The 23-month contract covers about 11.1 kilometres of canal and an estimated 108,000 cubic metres of dredged material. About 86,500 cubic metres is routed to an approved off-site processor and 21,500 cubic metres to a local grassland depot.

Contract scope and delivery roles

Client / authority
Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard (HHSK)
Delivery parties
Aannemingsbedrijf Van der Lee B.V. - signed prime contractor, Approved off-site sediment processor - not named, Grassland depot owner or operator, haulage, survey and monitoring parties - not named, TenderNed award disclosure states no subcontracting; do not infer that later suppliers or service providers are absent
Contract route
HHSK used an open procedure under reference A0380. Five bids were received, including one SME bid. The award used a 20 percent quality and 80 percent price weighting; Van der Lee was selected on 27 January 2026, the contract was signed on 17 February and the award notice was published on 18 February 2026.
Execution window
TenderNed gives an estimated contract duration of 23 months from the signed award. No notice to proceed, possession date, mobilisation record, dredging start, seasonal restriction, completion certificate or final-account date has been identified.
Works package
RAW specification WS-2026-02 covers about 11.1 kilometres of the Ringvaart: from Klaas Klinkertweg in Capelle aan den IJssel to the A16 in Rotterdam, and from Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel to Moordrecht in Zuidplas. The estimated 108,000 cubic metres comprises about 86,500 cubic metres of non-spreadable material for an approved processor and 21,500 cubic metres of spreadable material for local placement in a grassland depot.
Marine interfaces
Delivery depends on linear canal access through urban and polder edges, navigation and water-level coordination, sediment classification, loading and transport controls, processor and depot acceptance, baseline and completion surveys, and reconciliation of estimated against measured quantities. The public award does not identify plant, access compounds, haul routes, processor capacity or temporary navigation controls.
Commercial evidence boundary
TenderNed reports a EUR 4,087,280.31 contract value excluding VAT against an estimated EUR 4,000,000, a difference of EUR 87,280.31. The notice does not allocate value between dredging, transport, processing, depot handling, surveys or monitoring and provides no payment, variation or final-account evidence.
