Source basis

WACA's official programme page separates country projects, regional integration and support activities, and the WACA Platform for knowledge, dialogue and finance. The 2022 ResIP 2 approval assigns regional coordination functions to WAEMU and names the wider institutional network, while country project units retain national implementation and procurement. The 2026 WACA+ approval starts a separate financing phase rather than extending every ResIP 1 contract. Gorée's World Bank project paper and WACA field updates are project evidence with their own dates and measurement boundaries; the regional programme cannot certify the contractor's quantities, completion, heritage close-out or owner acceptance.
