Role in marine infrastructure
Straatman Mooring Systems is the mooring-equipment business within the Dutch Straatman group. For Bluewater's Oman green-ammonia package it delivered and pre-commissioned the control and hydraulic-release system for four offshore buoys, including eight GMH-100 hooks, autonomous power, navigation aids, subsea-valve and transmitter controls, portable telemetry and redundant communications. Straatman's public record says the package is ready for offshore installation and operation; it does not say Straatman will install the spread offshore or name the installation contractor.
