Dublin Port's current company and governance pages establish a State-owned commercial company whose shares are beneficially owned by the Minister for Transport. The company manages and develops the port, provides marine and navigation infrastructure, and retains harbour responsibilities while private firms handle cargo. MP2 is an owner-led capital programme, with Wills Bros executing the current Berths 52/53 contract. That contract does not transfer Dublin Port Company's wider pilotage, VTS, towage, environmental or landlord responsibilities to the contractor.
