Role in marine infrastructure
Port of Rotterdam Authority develops, operates and maintains Rotterdam's port and industrial area. Its infrastructure teams own and renew quay walls, channels and other port assets, commission marine and civil works, and coordinate delivery around active terminals. Commercial tenants, terminal operators and construction contractors remain separate parties, while the Harbour Master's Division carries out delegated public navigation duties.
