Damietta Port Authority controls the port's marine base, including the entrance channel, breakwaters, harbour basin and common infrastructure. At Container Terminal II, also known as Tahya Misr 1, the authority delivered the quay walls, excavation, access-channel and basin dredging, utilities and connections to the terminal boundary. Damietta Alliance Container Terminals financed, equipped and operates the separate terminal superstructure under its concession.
