Role in marine infrastructure
Ports de Normandie owns and manages Caen-Ouistreham, Cherbourg and Dieppe for a regional mixed syndicate formed by Normandy public authorities. It plans port infrastructure, safeguards nautical access through dredging and asset maintenance, organises port-operation conditions and runs public procurement. In the 2026-2029 maintenance-dredging framework it coordinates a joint order group with the Seine-Maritime ports while each authority signs and executes its own call-offs.
