AMPB is Burundi's current statutory maritime and port authority, created in March 2023 after the government decided to replace AMPF and separate rail regulation. At Bujumbura Port it is the current public owner-side counterparty for port governance, operating interfaces, asset acceptance and resilience planning; older project records still name AMPF.
