Role in marine infrastructure

Liberia's EPA is not merely a permit desk on the West Point revetment. UNDP lists it with the ministries of Public Works and Mines and Energy as an MMCRP implementing partner, while EPA's statutory role covers environmental coordination, ESIA permitting and compliance monitoring. Its March 2026 permit cleared construction inside defined coordinates; it did not disclose the works contractor, value, notice to proceed or mobilisation.
