The official award identifies Sorensen as main contractor for four dolphins, walkways, shore power and a transformer building. Sorensen's own dated updates then extend the chain to Murphy Ground Engineering and Ocean Crest Marine for 24 tubular piles, while the electrical and handover chain remains unnamed.

Twenty-four piles turn an award into a delivery chain

eTenders controls the main award and integrated package. Sorensen's April and August 2025 records control the 12-of-24 and 24-of-24 pile milestones and name Murphy Ground Engineering and Ocean Crest Marine. The Government Construction Contracts Committee page provides the 5 September 2025 owner-side status. The electrical, transformer, walkway, mooring-equipment and final-testing subcontractors remain publicly unidentified; handover is also unconfirmed.

The remaining opportunity sits beyond the pile package

The EUR 7.613438 million award alone does not show who performed the specialist marine foundations. Contractor updates do: Murphy Ground Engineering and Ocean Crest Marine collaborated on the 915-millimetre tubular piles, moving the public chain one tier below Sorensen. The same evidence does not allocate the transformer, switchgear, metering, low-voltage outlets, walkways or mooring equipment.

Evidence conclusion

Harbour acceptance remains unresolved

All 24 piles were reported installed in August 2025, but the government page published the following month still called the project ongoing and targeted substantial completion in Q3 2025. The two dated records therefore leave substantial completion unresolved. Pile completion does not establish completed dolphin caps, accessible walkways, energised shore power, tested switchgear, accepted mooring hardware or DAFM handover.
