Masirah's prime team leaves the marine package map open
Oman News Agency; exact Masirah port contract signing and project plan boards
Oman's Tender Board approved the Masirah multipurpose fishing-port contract at OMR 28.612 million in February 2025. Khimji Ramdas Construction and Archimedes Marine Engineering signed as the joint-venture delivery team in March. The announced scope covers 4,172 m of breakwaters, basin deepening, an 1,100 m skiff beach and 13 floating pontoons.
The prime contract now has named delivery parties
Oman News Agency identifies the joint-venture contractors and publishes the principal breakwater, basin, beach and pontoon quantities. Its Tender Board report supplies the exact OMR 28,612,449 approved value. Khimji Ramdas confirms its participation in the signing. Times of Oman independently carries the owner announcement. Specialist contractor and supplier names have not been published in these disclosures.
Breakwaters and basin works carry distinct supply chains
The award fixes who holds the main construction obligation and quantifies the largest marine workfronts. It stops short of identifying the designer, dredging plant, quarry and armour supplier, pontoon system supplier, aids-to-navigation contractor or supervising engineer. Those appointments determine which firms actually deliver the port beneath the joint venture.

Khimji Ramdas Construction and Archimedes Marine Engineering are confirmed joint-venture primes.
