City of Cape Town tender 32Q/2026/27 combines a new 1,100 L/s Rietvlei sewage pump station about 14 m below ground, twin approximately 1.98 km DN710 HDPE rising mains and a 758 L/s bypass pump station with screening and degritting at Bellville Wastewater Treatment Works. The January 2026 capital budget lists ZAR 879.34 million as total project or programme cost, while the live tender publishes no contract estimate or awardee. Bids close at 10:00 local time on 2 November 2026.

The issued scope fixes the hydraulic package

The tender couples civil, pipeline and electromechanical scope rather than replacing one pump in isolation.
