Floating Jetty Award
Merolyn holds ten-site Bihar steel-jetty contract
Merolyn Engineering Works holds a USD 1.293 million IWAI contract for ten steel floating jetties across seven Bihar locations on National Waterway-1. Contract dates and the technical schedule are public; the July 2026 tender-derived delivery milestone has passed without unit-level commissioning evidence.
A ten-unit steel-pontoon prime contract is now mapped
Contract 1862243 fixes the signed supplier, amount, dates and package reference. The IWAI tender fixes the ten-unit distribution, exact locations, equipment, eight-month delivery and upkeep terms. The procurement plan provides an under-implementation state and later completion date but no physical progress. Retired Merolyn website routes are excluded from the evidence chain.
The package opens seven riverbank interfaces and a two-year service tail
Ten independently installed units make the package larger than a single-berth supply order. Merolyn's contract combines design, proof checking, yard fabrication, launching, transport, installation, anchors and moorings, HDPE-supported access, safety equipment and commissioning, then requires 24 months of upkeep and monsoon-responsive relocation. Those obligations create a substantial lower-tier chain and a site-by-site acceptance sequence whose participating suppliers remain undisclosed.
Evidence conclusion
Administrative implementation status is ahead of public physical evidence
World Bank record 1862243 establishes Merolyn as the signed prime contractor from 11 November 2025 at USD 1,292,823.86. The official IWAI tender establishes ten units at seven named locations, an eight-month design-to-commissioning obligation and 24 months of upkeep. On an unchanged programme, the delivery milestone fell around 11 July 2026. The procurement plan still says under implementation and gives a later overall completion date, but neither record proves approved drawings, steel cutting, launches, transport, installation or acceptance.
