A direct goods award to Solent Marine Ltd covers replacement floats for Burry Port Harbour's pontoons. The contract is GBP 72,600 excluding VAT and runs from 16 March 2026 to 31 March 2029. Solent Marine is the confirmed supplier, while float quantity, installation responsibility and accepted replacement work remain unpublished.

Physical pontoon renewal remains unverified

The three-year period could cover staged supply, call-offs or an administrative envelope, but no public source distinguishes those delivery models. Treating it as an installation contract would conceal open work around compatibility design, fabrication, transport, removal, lifting or launching, reconnection, berth phasing, commissioning and disposal. It would also blur a separate commercial boundary with Burry Port's emergency dredging and harbour-capital packages.
