Maritime Constructions wins Elizabeth Quay's integrated platform package
Maritime Constructions holds the AUD 1,756,143 PROPTA25042 design-and-construct award for a new ferry platform and gangway at Elizabeth Quay. Tenders WA confirms five submissions and an integrated scope from engineering and fabrication through installation, testing, commissioning and warranty, while commencement, expiry and field mobilisation remain unpublished.
The award fixes one integrated delivery package
Tenders WA identifies the buyer relationship, Maritime Constructions award, five-submission competition, fixed price, dates and multidiscipline package boundary. PTA and EPA pages provide wider ferry-network context only. They do not place other terminals, vessels or charging works inside PROPTA25042. Public sources disclose no lower tiers, mobilisation, plant assignment, commissioning or acceptance.
Platform access and terminal systems converge here
The contract joins structural and civil work with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, communications and security integration. That boundary makes the package larger than a simple gangway supply order despite its modest value. It also creates several lower-tier opportunities across design, fabrication, piling, lifting, marine access, controls and commissioning, none of which is separately named in the award notice.
Evidence conclusion
Mobilisation evidence now controls delivery status
Maritime Constructions is the confirmed prime under an open-advertisement, fixed-price works contract awarded after five submissions. The published AUD 1,756,143 is an original contract value rather than certified expenditure or final cost. Supplier selection is therefore firm, but physical delivery remains unevidenced. Contract commencement, approved dimensions, fabrication release, installation plant, subcontractors, testing results, passenger-service handover and final account are the decisive status markers.
Outstanding evidence
- Contract commencement and approved construction programme
- Platform dimensions, pile schedule and gangway geometry
- Named design, fabrication, piling and installation subcontractors
- Barge, tug, crane, diving and lifting arrangements
- Terminal possessions and ferry-service continuity controls
- Systems integration, testing and operational handover
- Variations, certified expenditure and final account
