Mumbai Port's INR 281.70 crore estimate covers three annual campaigns, not one production event. Each cycle has a 24-week completion clock and a 45-day TSHD mobilisation requirement, while the separate 2026-27 budget line, earlier Van Oord contracts, and historical quantities use different accounting and delivery boundaries.

What changed

Mumbai Port's tender listing and documents define the current package while Corrigendum II moves bid close to 6 August 2026 and keeps the procurement at tender. The annual budget, January 2024 SOP, E.47/2023 register, and T.47A/2017 register provide accounting, compliance, and historical-contract context only. The official harbour chart shows channels, anchorages, and dumping grounds but does not depict E.47/2026 execution.

Why it matters

The tender combines assured-depth lump sums, measured in-situ areas, supplementary near-wall plant, live traffic windows, non-exclusive DS1 disposal access, and annual hydrographic acceptance. A single contract value hides three separate mobilisation, siltation, survey, dumping, and berth-access outcomes.

Keep E.47/2026 at tender until CPPP or Mumbai Port publishes an award. Build the execution record cycle by cycle: notice to commence, named TSHD spread, pre-dredge condition, traffic and DS1 permissions, measured production, post-dredge hydrography, and accepted completion. Do not use the INR 65 crore annual budget, the INR 216.40 crore preceding award, or a photograph from the prior campaign as proof of the new contract's result.
