Contract Award
AD Ports awards USD 200 million for Noatum Pointe-Noire
AD Ports Group awarded three Noatum Ports Pointe-Noire contracts worth a combined USD 200 million on 18 May 2026. The MAR Contracting-MBTP joint venture received marine and topside packages worth USD 150 million, while ZPMC received USD 50 million for three STS and nine hybrid RTG cranes.
Three awards define the top-tier delivery chain
AD Ports controls the three awards, values and package descriptions. Its annual report supplies the environmental and tender baseline. The concession and venture releases define the 30-year term and 51/49 ownership. Physical construction remains unconfirmed.
Civil and crane scopes now have named contractors
The awards allocate the quay wall, marine structures, crane foundations, yard, utilities and main crane fleet to named parties. Notice to proceed, mobilisation, dredging responsibility, downstream subcontractors and a baseline completion schedule remain undisclosed beyond the stated two-year expectation.
Evidence conclusion
Mobilisation is the next contractual gate
MAR-MBTP controls the marine and topside civil packages and ZPMC controls the crane package. The 420-metre terminal remains at award stage because the announcement contains no site mobilisation milestone. Associated waterside works cannot be converted into a dredging award without a direct scope allocation.
Outstanding evidence
- Notice to proceed and MAR-MBTP mobilisation
- Quay-wall foundation design and ground conditions
- Dredging responsibility and berth-depth acceptance
- ZPMC fabrication and delivery schedule
- Topside utilities, substations and yard-system packages
- Downstream subcontract and local-content disclosures
