West Coast Marine wins five-site West Bengal concrete-jetty lot
IWAI signed a USD 2.158 million contract with West Coast Marine Yacht Services for five modular concrete floating jetties on National Waterway-1 in West Bengal. The legal award and technical schedule are public; current fabrication, installation teams, lower-tier suppliers and site acceptance are not.
A five-site concrete-pontoon prime contract is now confirmed
World Bank record 1882585 controls the signed supplier, amount and contract reference. The IWAI tender controls the five Lot A sites, dimensions, equipment, verification, handover and upkeep terms. The procurement plan provides an under-implementation package state but no physical progress. West Coast Marine's 2024 IWAI installation is cited only as supplier precedent and image context.
The award adds a distinct P148775 delivery package outside the 45-jetty programme
The package combines five geographically separate riverbank installations, modular concrete units, HDPE access walkways, site-specific anchors and moorings, passenger safety equipment, verification and two years of upkeep. The contract therefore creates procurement opportunities below the prime award and a measurable sequence from drawings and fabrication through transport, installation, commissioning and acceptance. This P148775 package is separate from West Bengal's World Bank P166020 45-jetty ledger.

West Coast Marine's earlier four-site IWAI project demonstrates relevant concrete-pontoon delivery experience, but neither that reference nor the company's general Ronautica and Seaflex capability statements prove appointments on the current contract. The procurement plan says under implementation; until drawings, production, transport, installation or acceptance evidence appears, the safest current phase is award rather than physical construction.
