Contract route

Commercial evidence boundary
The project now has a named feasibility-study proponent, a public-sector client, an official capacity concept and a local land signal, but not a bankable marine package. Near-term opportunities are more likely to sit in hydrography, geotechnical and metocean work, dispersion modelling, environmental studies, concept and reference design, renewable-power integration and transaction support than in construction. Consultant award, study team, final site and procurement model are the next commercially material disclosures.

Luderitz Town Council published the local feasibility baseline

The Council linked the study to the NamWater-Toyota Tsusho MoU, described an approximately 100,000 m3/day plant and photovoltaic facility, gave a February 2027 study target and identified land allocated to NamWater. It did not approve construction or disclose a marine design.
