Budimex; exact Baltic Hub T3 quay and handling-equipment configuration

Baltic Hub's 717-metre T3 quay and 36-hectare reclaimed platform were completed in 2025, and the operator says the terminal became fully operational in October. A later 2026 sequence relocated aRMG cranes and released additional yard lines. That is not a contradiction: the marine asset and base terminal were delivered, while automated-yard configuration continued to mature in live service.

The operating baseline now extends beyond the opening ceremony

Baltic Hub controls the construction-complete, full-operation and 2026 yard-line statements. DEME defines dredging and reclamation; Budimex defines the consortium and civil quantities; Haskoning defines owner-side engineering and supervision. The records support a completed marine asset with continuing operational optimisation, not an unfinished quay.

A completed quay can still have open automation gates

Port completion is often compressed into a single date even though quay acceptance, vessel trials, commercial opening, yard automation, crane commissioning and system optimisation occur on different clocks. T3 provides a well-documented chain from DEME's seabed and reclamation work through Budimex civil delivery, Haskoning supervision, deep-sea operations and later aRMG yard-line release.

Evidence conclusion

System metrics define the remaining ramp-up

The strongest completion date is 17 November 2025 for the construction programme, supported by the last yard-use permit and final four aRMG cranes entering operation. The strongest operating date is early October 2025 for the complete terminal. The June-July 2026 aRMG relocation and line-release notices document optimisation and capacity release inside an operating terminal. They do not reopen the DEME dredging and reclamation package or the Budimex quay works. Future reporting needs berth productivity and yard-system availability rather than another completion percentage.

Outstanding evidence

  • aRMG availability and remote-operator productivity by yard line
  • STS moves per hour and deep-sea vessel turnaround at T3
  • Reclaimed-platform settlement and pavement maintenance
  • Rail, gate and yard throughput after lines 6 and 7 release
  • Defects-liability works separated from operating maintenance
  • Final account and downstream subcontract disclosure
