Congo Terminal completes 400 metres of East Mole quay
Congo Terminal; exact East Mole quay construction progress published in July 2026
Congo Terminal reported 400 metres of its planned 750-metre East Mole quay complete on 6 July 2026. All 558 steel piles were driven by 26 June. CRBC remains responsible for the construction programme while dredging, deck completion, land formation and electric-terminal integration continue toward the 2027 target.
Four hundred metres of quay are complete
Congo Terminal controls the July 2026 quay milestone and June pile completion. Its dredging notice describes the bituminous-sand method change. Ingerop defines the engineering assignment. Dredger ownership, electric-equipment suppliers, downstream packages and final acceptance remain undisclosed.
Pile completion opens the remaining deck sequence
The pile and quay milestones move the project beyond early marine mobilisation. They also narrow the remaining structural work to 350 metres of quay while leaving surveyed dredging acceptance, final platform area, equipment suppliers and terminal commissioning unresolved.
Evidence conclusion
Dredging and equipment allocation remain open
CRBC's construction role and Ingerop's engineering scope are confirmed. The owner has published pile, quay and dredging-method milestones, including treatment of bituminous sands. The public chain does not identify dredger ownership, electric equipment suppliers, downstream subcontractors or accepted berth hydrography.
Outstanding evidence
- Remaining 350 metres of quay deck
- Bituminous-sand dredging production and hydrographic acceptance
- Final reclamation and terminal-area measurement
- Five STS, 15 eRTG and 30 eTT suppliers
- Power, yard and terminal-system commissioning
- Staged operating release during 2027
