NSW has disclosed two related contracts for the Western Broadside Wharf, adjacent seawall and access pontoon at Me-Mel (Goat Island). Polaris Marine Constructions holds CAN-116963 at AUD 683,971.41 including GST and Clement Marine Constructions holds CAN-116428 at AUD 1,282,988.82 including GST. NPWS confirms that repair is underway, but neither notice explains how the physical scope is divided between the two contractors.

CWS00920 now has two named contractor records

Buy NSW controls the two contract identities, contractors, values and periods. NPWS controls the active-work statement, pontoon relocation and conditional end-September target. The two contract titles do not establish a prime-subcontract relationship or exact work division. Clement's website provides capability context only; no equivalent project-specific contractor page or completion record was found.

Owner progress confirms activity while package boundaries stay open

The combined AUD 1,966,960.23 award value identifies two active marine contractors on one heritage waterfront package. The shared CWS00920 title and -1/-2 suffixes are administrative clues rather than a scope schedule. Treating both contractors as responsible for the same 430 square metres of timber wharf, 78 metres of seawall and pontoon work would double-count the published quantity and overstate each firm's role.

Completion needs contractor scope and owner acceptance

The current field state is stronger than award-only evidence: NPWS says the visitor wharf is closed, the seawall is under repair and the pontoon is at a slipway for refurbishment. The owner targets end-September completion subject to weather and latent conditions. Contractor-level scope schedules, inspection records and the reopening notice will determine completion. The wider AUD 42.9 million island programme must remain separate because it includes buildings, soil remediation, another wharf and crane work.
