Completed marina infrastructure
Hillarys five-jetty replacement completes at AUD 10m
Transport WA records the final Hillarys Boat Harbour replacement stage completed in April 2024 as an AUD 10 million project. Five floating jetties and a realigned 3.5-metre central walkway now serve 115 pens. The annual report also publishes major installed quantities, Western Australian manufacturing outcomes and an 84% metropolitan-WA spend share.
The April 2024 closeout adds quantities and local manufacture
The 2023-24 Transport WA annual report publishes April 2024 completion, project cost, installed quantities, local manufacture, spend geography and workforce facts. Tenders WA publishes the common award, supplier, dates and contract values. The 2022 government release defines the five-jetty and 115-pen scope.
Hillarys publishes unusually detailed completion and localisation facts
The annual report identifies approximately 320 tonnes of steel piles, 51 tonnes of aluminium pontoon frames and 1,985 square metres of pontoons. It also states that floating modules, fendering and aluminium frames were manufactured in Western Australia. Those facts strengthen the physical closeout record, although the manufacturers, specialist lower tiers, acceptance documents and site-level final account remain unavailable.
Evidence conclusion
Completion follows the published common-contract expiry date
The Hillarys asset is completed and the rounded AUD 10 million project statement is owner-sourced. Earlier annual reports carried AUD 9.464 million and AUD 10.014 million capital-cost estimates, while DOT409421RFT publishes AUD 14.448 million actual expenditure for Hillarys and Fremantle together. The contract page ends on 21 December 2023 and the final Hillarys stage completes in April 2024. Public records leave the intervening contract administration, practical completion, acceptance and final site allocation unexplained. The 18 subcontractor personnel figure is a workforce count rather than a company register.
