Höfn proves execution but leaves the 2025 dredging account open
Höfn's 2025 Grynnslin campaign can be followed from a three-bid competition to Jan De Nul's winter deployment of Tristão da Cunha. The public record stops before measured quantity, accepted hydrographic profile and final account.
A vessel and work window close the mobilisation gap
Vegagerðin and TED control tender 24-077, the three scored bidders, award result and contract date. Jan De Nul controls its executing vessel, physical work period and operating-condition account. Vegagerðin's February 2026 release controls the later Boskalis agreement. The published documents omit Jan De Nul's 2025 measured volume, final hydrographic profile, placement ledger, acceptance certificate and final paid amount.
Delivered campaign, incomplete acceptance ledger
Many maintenance-dredging records stop at contract award. Here, Jan De Nul's current project page and impact report add the executing vessel, January-February work period, severe wave downtime, strong tidal currents and an operational result. That turns a procurement lead into a delivered campaign while preserving the evidence still missing for technical and commercial close-out.
Evidence conclusion
Keep the successor contract out of the 2025 quantity record
TED records an ISK 300 million result value under a standby and active hourly-rate model. Without certified hours, measured volume, disposal receipts, post-dredge survey and final account, it is not a unit-price benchmark or proof of final payment. The approximately 650,000 cubic metres per year described for Boskalis' separate 2026-2028 contract is a successor-programme baseline and cannot be applied retrospectively to Jan De Nul's 2025 campaign.
