CanadaBuys has opened WS5822483507 for maintenance dredging in Le Goulet's harbour basin, transport and approved disposal. Bids close 1 September 2026, but the public notice names no quantity, depth, disposal site, method, value, bidder or contractor.

A new competition follows a separate 2025 campaign

The current CanadaBuys notice lists the open status, closing time and broad scope. A separate 2025 contract history identifies ECO Technologies, CAD 469,397.56 and the prior method. DFO's 2024 backgrounder supplies programme context, while GEMTEC describes the exact site through a different assignment. No current value, winner, quantity, depth, disposal site, method or delivery date is published.

The bid clock is fixed while the production basis remains open

Dredging cost and bid strategy turn on material quantity and classification, dredge limits, target depth, plant, haul distance, disposal approval and operating windows. The current notice fixes the 1 September closing deadline and broad output but leaves those production variables outside the public record. A prior Le Goulet award can indicate that the harbour has used excavator-and-scow delivery, but it cannot price or assign the new package.

Evidence conclusion

The 2026 contractor and production basis remain open

PSPC published EC015-270630 on 7 August 2026 for DFO Small Craft Harbours, with a 1 September 2026 closing at 14:00 EDT. The scope is basin maintenance dredging, transport and disposal at approved sites plus associated work. CanadaBuys separately records ECO Technologies Ltd. on CAD 469,397.56 contract CW2417112 in 2025, using a barge-mounted excavator and scow with containment-cell reconfiguration. That contract ended in 2025 and does not establish the 2026 bidder, winner, method, value, quantity or disposal route. An amendment, bill of quantities or award notice tied to WS5822483507 is required to resolve the current production and contractor chain.

Outstanding evidence

  • Amendments, bidder questions and any change to the 1 September deadline
  • Dredge quantity, horizontal limits, target depth and sediment classification
  • Approved disposal location, haul route and environmental conditions
  • Specified dredger, excavator barge, scow, tug and survey plant
  • Bidder list, current award value, successful contractor and lower tiers
  • Mobilisation, measured volume, post-dredge bathymetry and acceptance
