Quay Closeout
Mo i Rana finished dredging before the quay reached handover
Vest Betong; exact Mo i Rana shoreline-deposit and marine construction workfront
Mo i Rana has crossed several physical milestones without crossing the final project boundary. Kystverket reports more than 100,000 cubic metres dredged, Toranes and navigation works complete and 156 piles installed, while the Langneset quay remains in its finishing phase ahead of planned autumn 2026 handover and opening.
Completed marine work fronts now sit beside an unfinished quay
Kystverket supplies the dated construction state, work-front boundaries, physical quantities and future owner/operator chain. TED controls the public contract-result value. Vest Betong controls its contract type, stated value, programme and detailed quantities. Visible construction progress does not establish acceptance, opening, final charting or a final account.
Four ledgers are required for one integrated project
The project exposes a delivery chain that a headline award misses: Vest Betong leads the NS 8405 works, Gerd Stensen is named on dredging, Keller appears in a bounded equipment-recovery role, and the municipality's future asset and operating companies enter only after completion. Each boundary changes who should be monitored and what can be claimed.
