Kystverket and Rana kommune are delivering an integrated entrance, dredging and deep-water quay programme in Mo i Rana. The works combine Toranes and Langneset dredging, contaminated-sediment containment, a new approximately 150-metre public intermodal quay at 15 metres depth, backland and utilities, plus navigation-marker upgrades.

The owner retained autumn 2026 completion and opening plans and named the future asset owner and operator, but did not report handover or operating acceptance.
SourceKystverket reported about 70,000 cubic metres dredged at Langneset, all 156 piles completed in 2025, Toranes and navigation works complete and concrete deck works under way.
SourceKystverket said the seasonal dredging campaign at Toranes and Langneset was complete, identified Gerd Stensen as Vest Betong's dredging subcontractor and tied Keller to equipment recovery after the barge incident. Final public hydrographic acceptance was not established.
