IWAI's 13 steel floating jetties sit in two distinct signed contracts: seven 30 m units with Nalanda Engineering Enterprise and six 24 m units with Cleghorn Mfg. Co. Their World Bank committed supplier amounts total USD 2.303 million, while physical delivery and lower tiers remain unverified.

Two previously unmapped signed packages add 13 NW-1 floating jetties

Contract records 1833026 and 1849339 control the two suppliers, contract references, signatures and committed USD amounts. The two current IWAI tender pages and PDFs control the distinct dimensions, site allocation rules, eight-month delivery obligations and 24-month upkeep. The combined USD 2,302,699.98 figure is arithmetic only, not a combined contract.

Separate suppliers, sizes and site ledgers define the two packages

The pair creates 13 separate riverbank interfaces across West Bengal and Bihar, two fabrication programmes, two anchor and mooring design sets, two transport and installation plans and two 24-month maintenance tails. Nalanda's seven pontoons are 30 m by 8 m at seven named West Bengal destinations. Cleghorn's six are 24 m by 6 m across three Bihar and three West Bengal locations whose final names remain unconfirmed. A merged project label would hide supplier exposure, dimensional differences and site-level acceptance risk.

Evidence conclusion

Physical delivery remains unverified after the contractual milestones

Contract records 1833026 and 1849339 establish two legal awards signed in April 2025. Their committed supplier amounts sum arithmetically to USD 2,302,699.98, but that is not a combined contract and should not be mixed with the separate INR 12.04 crore and INR 10.38 crore plus GST tender estimates. Both tenders require eight months to commissioning followed by 24 months of upkeep, so their unchanged delivery targets fell in December 2025. Fabrication, installation, commissioning, extensions and acceptance remain unpublished. The 13-unit pair is also distinct from Merolyn's ten-unit Bihar award and West Coast Marine's concrete-pontoon package.
