Port Atlantique La Rochelle is adding a 160-metre multipurpose quay and four-hectare logistics platform at Chef de Baie 4. The EUR 17.832698 million quay contract is led by Océlian, with Leduc, GTM and Terélian assigned to distinct foundation, civil and earthworks roles. The port's latest published checkpoint said the quay was well advanced by mid-December 2025 and placed yard and drainage work in 2026.

- Contract route
- The port awarded a single marine-works contract after an EU procurement procedure. TED identifies Océlian as the winner and EUR 17.832698 million excluding VAT. Port records then identify the full Océlian-Leduc-GTM-Terélian group and allocate its principal scopes. AMLP's later landside role sits outside the disclosed quay-contract allocation.
- Execution window
- The contract was concluded in October 2024, studies began in November and site works started in mid-February 2025. By mid-December 2025 the port described the quay as well advanced. Yard and stormwater works were scheduled to start in spring 2026, with terminal handover to AMLP targeted for the second half of 2026. No accepted handover has been published.
- Works package
- Build an approximately 160-metre sealed combi-wall quay, with a future 90-metre extension option, plus a north trestle and southern mooring structure. The quay wall uses tubular piles and sheet piles anchored by roughly 40-metre tie rods. The wider terminal includes a four-hectare platform, backfill, polluted-soil treatment, a stormwater basin and berth electrification for ships up to 200 metres, 85,000 tonnes and 13.5 metres draught.
- Marine interfaces
- The contract joins the pre-dredged berth pocket to deep foundations, an anchored retaining wall, mooring structures, quay furniture and landside platform systems. Construction also carries underwater-noise and turbidity controls: the contractor group appointed Quiet Oceans, placed a marine-mammal sensor 750 metres from the works and retained bubble-curtain and acoustic-deterrent responses around pile installation.
- Commercial evidence boundary
- The EUR 17.832698 million TED result is the quay works contract, not the final terminal account. Port publications separately cite EUR 23 million, EUR 24 million and EUR 36 million for differently framed terminal and access programmes. Those figures should remain source-specific until the owner publishes a reconciled scope and final account. The named contractor roles create an attributable package map, while steel, marine plant, electrical, drainage, survey and acceptance suppliers remain partly undisclosed.
