Wharf Rehabilitation
Meteghan splits floating access from pile rehabilitation
Two separate contracts now govern Meteghan Small Craft Harbour. Dexter Construction holds CAD 4,292,100.00 CW2462474 through 30 November 2026 to replace three floating-dock systems and associated pipe piles, except the middle set replaced in 2018. Connors Diving holds CAD 1,265,518.56 contract 4500109325 through 31 March 2027 for Wharf 403 concrete removal, repairs and FRP pile jackets. Shared geography does not create a prime-subcontract relationship or a common acceptance record.
Two primes now control separate harbour packages
CanadaBuys controls the two prime awards, values, dates and stated scopes. C2-00907 controls the underwater repair, FRP jacket, navigation, environmental, per-unit payment and final-survey requirements. The DFO navigation notice fixes the floating-wharf registry location but does not prove approval or construction. No cited source establishes coordination between the primes, lower-tier identities, mobilisation, installed units or acceptance.
Distinct payment and acceptance rules govern each contract
Dexter's scope depends on dock removal, fabrication, lifting, pipe-pile installation and restored floating access. Connors' scope depends on diver-supported preparation, underwater-compatible formwork, FRP jackets, underwater concrete, containment, inspection and per-unit acceptance. Different work methods create different supplier, plant, quantity and quality-control evidence requirements.
