Veseli nad Moravou's phase-one marina expansion is operating with 66 spaces after IDS delivered fixed quay edges, floating fingers, bank protection, access and utility systems. Official modification notices show how buried structures, timber piles, weak foundations, unsuitable soil, sediment and a damaged pipe changed delivery.

The contract moved about 10.1% above award in the highest reviewed snapshot

The owner describes the design scope, IDS and AQUATIS roles and the August 2025 partial opening. The Transport Ministry reports 66 boats currently operating. TED records the award and modification values and the disclosed causes. Same-day modification values are separate snapshots and are not additive.

Operating evidence resolves a stale progress display

The owner opened 30 new spaces in August 2025 and the Czech Transport Ministry reports 66 boats accommodated for the 2026 season, even though the project page still says in progress and shows zero percent. That conflict illustrates why completion should follow dated operating evidence rather than a single project dashboard field. It also provides a compact inland-waterway benchmark for quay-edge, floating-berth and utility delivery.

Evidence conclusion

The modification chain matters more than the headline increase

IDS's original award was CZK 78,399,979.53 excluding VAT; the highest reviewed August 2026 modification snapshot is CZK 86,312,219.98. The same-day notices are not a chronological ledger and must not be added. Their value is the disclosed cause chain: former-weir concrete and timber piles, an old wall footing, weak existing platform walls, unsuitable soil and sediment, soft founding layers, a deformed DN 400 connection and an exposed bank. The remaining commercial gaps are the final account, accepted quantities and lower-tier package register.

Outstanding evidence

  • Final SML_2024_123 account and completion certificate
  • Phase-two marina expansion procurement
  • Wider Veseli-Vnorovy navigation-loop permitting
  • Operating-capacity reconciliation across 30, 31, 66 and 80 or 81 spaces
  • Settlement and bank-protection performance
  • Named sheet-pile, floating-finger, concrete, utility and electrical lower tiers
