The State Department for the Blue Economy and Fisheries awarded Toddy Civil Engineering Co. Limited the Kipini Fish Landing Site works contract for USD 1,173,854.51. The package combines fish-handling buildings and sanitation with a boat-repair yard, gear-mending shed, slip, access, drainage, wastewater treatment and electrical works on a 4.6-acre coastal site in Tana River County. KEMFSED recorded a formal groundbreaking in October 2024.
