Nacala intake, water-treatment, transmission and pumping works
World Bank contract 1765193 identifies Jiangxi Water and Hydropower Construction Group Co., Ltd. under FIPAG/DRIVE/W-15/23 for rehabilitation and construction of Nacala's intake, water-treatment facilities, transmission main and pumping stations. Signature followed on 10 January 2024 at USD 17,984,709.45. ARA Norte's 26 September 2025 site report names the JWHC team and shows the treatment, pumping and elevated-storage works under construction. The December 2025 completion report says two Nacala contracts remained incomplete when the wider project closed on 30 June 2025, continued with Government of the Netherlands financing and were expected to finish in April 2026. No later cited source confirms W-15/23 completion or acceptance.
