São Tomé and Príncipe's USD 21.9 million BEFIRM programme has signed AfDB financing and defined marine scope at Neves, Porto Alegre, and Chimalô. Official safeguards describe a replacement Porto Alegre quay with about 1,940 m³ of foundation dredging, a 4.0-metre operating-depth and 3,200 m² logistics interface at Neves, and cold-chain and logistics works at Chimalô. The works contractor, notice to proceed and construction start are not disclosed.
