Marine interfaces
The six GRP pipelines share buried onshore and offshore trenches through an 80 m planning corridor that crosses the Ramsar boundary. The offshore works were designed around about 530,000 m3 of cutter-suction dredging, trench depths of 5 to 6 m below seabed and a maximum formation level of -13.5 m CD. The outfalls sit near the Hassyan power-plant diffusers so dense RO reject and warmer buoyant cooling water can mix within the approved corridor; that interaction makes hydraulic performance, recirculation control and receiving-water monitoring part of the operating case.
Commercial evidence boundary
The main marine works sit inside the existing SIDEM-SEPCO III EPC contract. Near-term specialist demand is therefore more likely in commissioning support, intake screening and biofouling control, diffuser inspection, bathymetric or condition surveys, environmental monitoring and maintenance planning than in a new intake-outfall construction award. Any downstream Phase 2 potable-water transmission tender should be kept separate from the already installed offshore capacity provision.

The first 60 MIGD block entered the installed water-capacity record, moving the project into phased commissioning while the remaining 120 MIGD, full marine-system acceptance, and sustained performance remain separate conclusions.
The progress report narrowed the delivery window and put construction at an advanced stage. A percentage-complete statement left first water, accepted output, intake-outfall performance and commercial operation unverified.
The owner announcement set the financed 30-year IWP delivery structure and committed development route. It contained no marine construction progress, commissioning result or accepted desalination capacity.
