The BOQ permits TSHD, CSD, backhoe or other suitable plant and includes pre-, interim, post- and third-party surveys plus isolated submerged boulder removal.
Marine interfaces
The package joins a new container-terminal berth pocket to live AECTPL, Ennore Bulk Terminal and GCB-II waters and their approaches. Kamarajar lists the operating AECTPL berth at 400 metres long and 16.70 metres deep, EBTPL at 270 metres and 16.00 metres, and GCB-II at 330 metres and 16.00 metres. Dredging therefore has to be sequenced with active berth access, traffic control, hydrographic verification and two distinct material routes rather than treated as one undifferentiated quantity.

The main procurement question is still who receives the work and on what final terms. Once awarded, the package will require production dredging, near-berth plant, survey launch and third-party hydrography, land transport and spreading, offshore placement control, boulder handling, environmental monitoring and coordination with operating terminals.
