Sharakat, the Saudi Water Partnership Company, has grouped Ras Al Khair 2, Ras Al Khair 3, Tabuk 1, Shuqaiq 4 and Jazan 1 into one developer qualification programme. Their listed capacities add to 2.1 million cubic metres per day. The shared request for qualification makes each future project company responsible for a greenfield seawater reverse-osmosis plant, seawater intake and outfall facilities and related infrastructure. Sharakat is using one request for qualification to screen developers for five future independent water projects.
