Romania's Maritime Danube Ports Administration is modernising the existing quay in Galati's Port Bazinul Nou as the marine first stage of a wider multimodal platform. The package combines dredging, an 868-metre vertical sheet-pile quay, partial basin infill, ground and platform works and direct ship-to-quay handling space for intermodal loading units.
